There’s something about this time of year that asks us to slow down. To come closer to the fire. To listen to what’s steeping within that is awaiting its opportunity to be expressed.
Ethereal Embers: Voices of the Hearth is a ceremony for women who are ready to soften into their voice again. Honouring the vulnerability that may arise as we access this powerful force, we welcome all levels and ranges. Allow your voice to be your unique authentic instrument.
We’ll begin with ceremonial Cacao, letting it melt us open and warm up our channel from the voice to the heart. You’ll be guided in a drum journey to help us drop into the body, where we will meet the Spirit of our Voices. Then Kash, a dear sister and solo artist, will lead us through chant and vocal work, helping the voice rise from the belly and back into the light.
All evening, the fire will be burning beside us. You’ll have a moment to release something into the flames {an old thought, a past version of yourself, or even a belief that you’re ready to let go of}, as we near the turning of the year.
It will be small and intimate, just eight of us in my solarium in Ottewell. Candles, blankets, Cacao in hand. A night to breathe, move, and be met by your own sound.
Includes: ceremonial cacao, guided drum journey, chant and voice activation with Kash, burn ceremony, and circle facilitation
