JULY 25-27, 2025

The birthing of this retreat has been an expansion on all levels. A pulse in my womb and remembering in my Spirit. It came through dreams, ink on pages, and years of devotion to HER—the feminine essence that is untouched, untamed, and wholly sacred.

HER is unique within each of us. She is the wild, knowing, vastness beneath all the layers we’ve been told to wear. In a world that has asked us to forget—

A Weekend of Reclamation, and Sacred Devotion.

Instead of this being a pause from your life, imagine this as a return to it. A return to the woman you’ve been all along, the one buried beneath expectations, obligations, and illusions of separation.

For three days and two nights, we gather on private land, cradled by the forest, under the warm July sun and the watchful eyes of the stars. This is sacred ground for your unraveling and re-weaving.

  • Ceremony & Ritual: Cacao Ceremony, Tea Ceremony, and Sacred Circles to anchor your journey.

  • Embodiment Practices: Ecstatic Dance, Voice Activation & reclaiming your authentic expression, and Womb Reclamation

  • Sister Wound Exploration & Parts Work: To explore the nuanced layers of your psyche and soul.

  • Inner Child to Ancestral Guides Shamanic Journey: Bridging the parts of you that long to be seen and held.

  • Yoga & Chai with Sophie: Grounding practices infused with warmth and presence. The embodiment that Sophie, our yoga teacher holds is unmatched, she is gentle, powerful, and oh so delightful to be guided by!

  • Inner Child to Ancestral Shamanic Journey: A deep dive through the layers of your being—from the tender child within to the echoes of your lineage.

  • Sisterhood: Not the flaky, surface level kind.. this is messy, real, unfiltered connection. Women holding women without judgment and comparison.

Slow mornings sipping chai around the fire always turns into unguarded story sharing that weaves unforgettable sisterhood bonds.

The final ritual—a Peruvian-inspired love bath, where each woman is bathed in sacred, intention-infused water, seen and held in reverence by her sisters. Tears fall, not from pain, but from remembering what it feels like to be unconditionally loved.

..for 18 years—

for 18 years, she was buried beneath distractions and everything I thought would make me feel alive

I’d often catch glimpses of her— just enough to remember that something was missing.

Then, I’d lose her again. And so, the cycle continued.

All the practices we move through at this retreat are not about finding her.

They are about dropping the illusion that we ever lost her at all.

We all lose sight of her at certain moments.

Our little girl.

Our goddess.

Our tether to our ancestors.

The one who knows how to enjoy life, is intuitive, embodied, and radiant. We bury her. Or maybe life buries her. Under busyness and the masculine structures of the world. Under the weight of relationships that don’t truly feed us.

This is remembering your divine feminine.

I lose her sometimes, too. In my relationships, in my tasks, in my attempts to keep up with everything, and feeling like I’m behind on it all— whatever “it” is, anyways.

This retreat isn’t just an experience—but a passageway of reclamation.

To the outside world, it’s just a retreat.

To you, it’s your rebirth.

And I know this passage well.

I hold a genius in guiding women back into their hearts. I know grief intimately. I have sat with death. I have walked through the fires of loss and longing, and I know what it takes to return.

This is your return.

☼ Feels like she’s been holding it together for years

☼ Is in the middle of change, shedding skins she’s outgrown.

☼ Craves time just for herself, away from roles and expectations.

☼ Feels the pulse of the earth in her bones.

☼ Knows healing isn’t linear, pretty, or perfect and she’s done pretending otherwise.

The Land as Medicine
When you enter the retreat space, you’ll be greeted by alpacas, a tiny home tucked into the forest, and groves of trees that provide refreshing air, you’ll feel your lungs being tended to. The land is a massive aquifer reserve—soft, and plush—perfect for being barefoot all weekend long (yay!). There’s a ceremonial fire pit where we’ll start our mornings and close our nights, offering our voices and laughter to the Ceremonial Fire. At night, the stars and the sounds of wind moving through the trees will carry us into deep rest. The outdoor solar-heated shower nestled in the forest is also a must try— it’s the most beautiful intimate experience with nature.

Meet the Team

  • Sophie C

Meet Sophie, our Yoga and Ecstatic Dance Guide for Remembering Her Retreat! Sophie is passionate about movement and the mind-body connection. Her deep awareness of the body comes from both her yoga teacher training and her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, with a minor in Physical Activity. She takes a relaxed, intuitive approach to yoga—an invitation to soften, listen, and move in a way that feels good for your body.

With a trauma-informed perspective, she recognizes that movement can stir emotions in unexpected ways and holds space for students to explore their practice with awareness and self-compassion. Beyond the mat, she encourages curiosity—an invitation to witness the mind just as we do the body, deepening connection both inward and outward. When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her playing guitar, rock climbing, biking, spending time in nature, or snuggling her cat.

Sophie and I met in the very first year I facilitated a retreat. She rolled in bravely, and by the last night—somewhere between the full moon and the mushy magic—we were deep in belly laughs, a sound I hadn’t heard from myself in years. She brought that out of me. That’s who she is. Her playful spirit is something I never take for granted. She walks, and the sun seems to follow. ☀️ If you ever want to try something wild, something new, something that pushes your edges—call Sophie. She’s done it all, and she’ll invite you into the experience with open arms.

But what I admire most? Her devotion. To her craft. To her growth. To leading with authenticity, always. You won’t see her shapeshift to fit in, but you will see her continuously evolve. Sophie, thank you for weaving yourself even deeper into something you’ve been a part of since its very first seed. Knowing you is a blessing, working with you is a gift. You are medicine, you are magic, and I cannot wait to co-create.🙏🏼

  • Josselyn T

Meet Our Retreat Chef, Josselyn of Whole Foodie Nutrition 🌱

When I think of Josselyn, I think of someone who pours love into everything she touches. A wildly creative and deeply passionate holistic chef, Josselyn and I first met at one of my women’s circles back in 2023—right as she was on the verge of launching her own business. She was telling me about the intentionality behind her homemade sauces, and I remember saying, “It’s all about the sauce.” Her face lit up and she said, “That’s the name!” And so I was lucky to witness her beautiful sauce line be birthed! Since then, I’ve watched her show up with devotion and drive—rain or shine (literally, those markets were wild!).

She’s now the owner of Whole Foodie Nutrition, a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant and Advanced Raw Food Chef with a mission rooted in real food and healing from within. Her journey started with her own health struggles—searching for answers when western medicine didn’t offer the root-cause approach she needed. From there, she took her power back, one ingredient at a time.

Her sauces are made with real, whole food ingredients—no additives, no preservatives—and they’re gluten and dairy-friendly. They’re the kind of nourishing creations you can drizzle on anything: bowls, salads, wraps, veggies, meats… whatever your heart desires.

But beyond the food, being in Josselyn’s presence is medicine in itself. She gives the kind of steady attention that makes you feel deeply seen. Her hugs are warm, her gaze grounding, and the energy she brings into a space is one of unconditional love. I could sit with her for hours. It’s the deepest honour to have Josselyn nourishing all of you women at the Remembering Her Retreat this year. It feels full circle to welcome her not only as a participant but now as a part of the dream team. I’ve always known she’d end up here💕

Josselyn, thank you for bringing your warmth, your wisdom, and your sauces to our weekend. You truly do everything with love—and we’ll feel that in every creation!

  • Anika K

Meet Anika, the heart behind the lens at this year's Remembering Her Retreat!

Anika and I met in the most magical way — wading in a pond at one of Elementa’s retreats, just a week before her wedding. We were laughing, talking like old friends, and from that moment on, she's felt like sunshine to me. Last year I finally got the opportunity to pour the love bath over her, something my hands still remember. Every time I see her, I feel drenched in love and full of life.

She sees people with a rare kind of depth. She speaks from such a rooted place of self-acceptance that her words land with truth. Her compliments don't feel like fluff — they feel like medicine. Being around her makes you want to soften, to smile, to remember who you really are.

That's why she's the one capturing this year's retreat. Last year, something clicked in her, she knew this is what she was meant to do!

Anika, your presence is art. You express yourself so openly, it invites everyone around you to do the same. You photograph with devotion - to the feminine, to beauty, to truth. I cannot wait for the women at this retreat to be seen through your lens.

You are a gift, and your work is a blessing.

Here's what she wanted to share with all of you

My creative passion for life was apparent at a young age. Now, I live a life of creating and relishing in the beauty that surrounds me, whether that's landscapes, animals, people, or experiences. My art medium is photography, documenting the here and now, highlighting the true essence seen through my lens. I intentionally perceive the world and people around me with a soft, loving gaze, allowing their magic to flow through to the camera.

This art form is about going past skin deep, allowing you to shed layers of insecurity and doubt. These photographs and the moments we share are meant to capture who you are as a person, with your divine uniqueness and soul being proudly portrayed, and embraced.

  • Carissa C

I'm honoured to introduce each of you to Carissa, Your intuitive Facialist waiting to pamper you at Remembering Her.

Carissa and I reconnected after many years, and it truly felt like divine timing! From the moment we started talking again, I had this deep knowing-we were meant to walk closely together. There was instant trust, familiarity, and a feeling of being fully accepted. No masks, no molding-just ease, laughter, and truth.

Carissa, I admire you so much. You have a way of making people feel deeply held. Your facials are pure medicine. Every time you touch my face and guide me into meditation, I feel spoiled. You create such a safe space for stillness. There's something about the way you move, how you drop into your own flow, that brings others deeper into themselves too. It's powerful, and I'm excited for everyone to experience it!

What I love about sharing ceremony with you is how openly you receive.

Your spirit is strong, grounded, and so present. You feel things deeply, and you bring that same depth to the space you hold for others.

It's such a gift to have you joining this retreat-not just as a participant, but as a practitioner. You said you wanted to be there, and now you're here in such a meaningful way. I can't wait for everyone to experience the magic you offer.

Carissa is the co-founder of FORM Facial Studio in St. Albert. At the retreat, she'll be offering intuitive facial massage combined with guided meditation; a nurturing, heart-centere experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and feel supported on your healing journey.

  • Jessica S

Jessica ~ having you offer massage at this retreat feels like a dream come true.
You’ve been part of this vision from the very beginning—helping shape it behind the scenes year after year. And last year, finally having you attend as a participant was so touching. Now, seeing you step into this role feels like something we both quietly manifested.

You are truly an angel walking this earth. Your kindness, your gentle presence, and that light-up-a-room smile—it’s medicine on its own.
There’s a softness in you that puts people at ease, a warmth that invites others to breathe a little deeper.

You open your heart to those you trust, and I see how intentional you’ve been in keeping it open—even when life has asked a lot of it. That depth in you is what makes your presence so impactful. I’ll never forget the words you shared about my dad’s journey with cancer. They struck me deep—and I thought about them the entire drive home.

Your vulnerability is a gift. It creates space. It gives other women permission to feel, to soften, to be fully themselves. That’s what you bring into every space you enter, and I know the women who receive from you at this retreat will feel that on every level—body, heart, and soul.

Jessica is the heart behind Breathe Massage, and at Remembering Her, she’ll be offering therapeutic massage sessions that go beyond the physical. Her work is intuitive, nurturing, and deeply restorative—an invitation to come home to yourself through intentional touch and loving presence.

  • Makenna V

Meet Makenna from @willowandsage.acu offering Acupuncture at the Retreat!

Makenna and I met in a personal development course that eventually had us singing Katy Perry together

so yes, we've felt each other's energy in the most real way!

From the start, her presence struck me as soft, intuitive, and deeply wise. She has such a gentle heart and graceful way of being, and I feel incredibly honoured to have her returning to the retreat — this time offering her beautiful acupuncture practice as a treatment option.

Makenna brings years of devotion to this path. She's someone I trust wholeheartedly, her high level of care, integrity, and intuitive touch is truly rare. She holds the kind of presence where your body feels safe to relax, your nervous system can exhale, and your spirit feels seen.

Rooted in natural medicine since childhood, Makenna followed a soul-calling into Acupuncture during a time of deep personal transformation.

She's drawn to ancient wisdom, energy work, past lives, and the mysterious in-between that lives beneath the surface and that shows up in her ability to truly listen to the body.

She'll be offering one-on-one acupuncture sessions throughout the weekend, creating a sacred space for women to rest, reset, and receive.

Whether you're moving through anxiety, hormonal shifts, physical tension, or simply longing to be held in a gentle, grounded way, Makenna will meet you there, just as you are.

She's supportive, accepting, and sweet to the core. Makenna, thank you for being a part of my journey and for bringing your magic to this sacred weekend. We're so lucky to have you!

Support a Sister Fund

Dear Beloved Community,

We hold a deep devotion to creating a space where all women—no matter their current chapter—feel welcome, supported, and held.

This retreat was never meant to be exclusive. It was built on the knowing that healing happens together… in community, in reciprocity, in the quiet moments when one woman reaches out and another reaches back.

Last year, we were moved by the messages we received—women who deeply felt the call to be there, but whose finances couldn’t quite match the timing. And still, through the generosity of this beautiful community, we have been able to offer five full retreat tickets—a true testament to what is possible when we take care of one another. 🙌

This year, we’re continuing that tradition through our Support a Sister Fund.
If your heart feels moved, you can anonymously donate a full or partial ticket by adding it to your cart on our site. Every single offering goes directly to a woman who has vulnerably reached out and is longing to be a part of this sacred weekend.

Many of the women who contribute are those who feel the call in their bones but can’t join us this time—or those who’ve walked the path of remembrance before and know how powerful it is to gift that doorway to someone else.

Your generosity is a reminder, that sisterhood is alive, that healing can be shared. And that when we say you belong here, we mean it.

With a full heart and deep gratitude,
Alyssa

Each tent is curated with so much love and attention—from the cozy, plush bedding to the warm, earthy decor that instantly makes you feel held. It’s your sacred little sanctuary… a home away from home, but better! A beautiful, stress-free way to experience the retreat without the need to pack and set up a tent.

Choose between:
A quiet space just for you to rest, decompress, and integrate between sessions

or
Sharing it with a sister or two and keep the connection flowing into the night

And let’s be real—if air mattresses and cots don’t cut it for your body… why not treat yourself to deeper rest and full support, so you can soak in every drop of this weekend?

These options allow you to show up with ease, without the stress of bringing and setting up your own camping gear. Let the land hold you while you immerse yourself in the experience of deep connection, embodiment, and sisterhood.
