Light and Lineage: An Ancestral Solstice Ceremony
June 20th, 6:00–10:00 PM | Edmonton, AB
As the sun lingers at its highest point in the sky, we gather to remember.
Long before electricity and calendars, our ancestors marked the turning of time by the sun — gathering on the longest day to honour the light, to give thanks, and to enter into ritual with fire, story, and song. They knew that in the fullness of light, there is also a sacred invitation: to remember where we come from, and to choose what we carry forward.
Light and Lineage is an evening ceremony held in the glow of the solarium — a modern day sun temple turned womb cave for the night. As day gives way to dusk, we will sit in circle as our grandmothers once did:
in reverence, in rhythm, and in remembrance.
✺ This ceremony includes:
– Heart-opening ceremonial cacao
– An ancestral honoring ritual + altar
– Guided Shamanic Journey to connect with a well ancestor
– A ritual release of inherited stories, patterns, or burdens
– Sacred sharing circle as the light fades
– Soft music, soul connection, and the warmth of feminine presence
✺ This is for the woman who:
– Feels the pull of the old ways
– Longs to sit in sacred space, beyond surface and small talk
– Is ready to honour her lineage — and liberate herself from what no longer needs to be carried
– Desires ritual, sisterhood, and seasonal remembrance
– Is reclaiming her own radiant path
Bring an offering for the altar: a photo, object, flower, or symbol from your lineage or land.
Dress comfortably, in something that feels sacred or ceremonial to you.
All are welcome — no experience with cacao, ritual, or journeywork is needed.
Limited spots. Exchange: $108
